When she was finally found by her mother, Mak Elli, and her younger sister, Alana, Putri was ill following childbirth; she had originally fled after becoming pregnant by her boyfriend. Mak Elli insisted that Putri and her baby, Raman, return home to reunite with the family. After moving back, however, Putri’s condition deteriorated, and she passed away.
